Kathleen and I first met through a mutual friend because I was looking for adorable little ones for a commercial photoshoot with Baby Delight, Inc. and she submitted photos of her son, Teddy! I’m so glad we had them come in because, not only was he adorable, but her connection with Teddy was so joyful and genuine, they just melted my heart! Kathleen is sweet, fun, and deeply cares about her family. Needless to say, I wasn’t at all surprised when I met her husband, Nicholas, for the first time at our session at Easton Beach, in Newport, RI, and he was equally as wonderful.

They showed up in the most adorable coordinating outfits with matching pops of teal and some hydrangeas from their garden at home. The hydrangeas came in extra helpful at getting little Teddy’s attention and added a pretty pop of lavender. We ventured along the path and walkways of the pavilion and after all that activity, as babies do, Teddy was ready for a snack. Once Teddy was refueled and ready for some excitement on the beach, Kathleen and Nicholas left their shoes along the storm wall and we walked down to the water’s edge to enjoy the cloudy, pink, and soft sunset. Teddy’s little smile was so contagious and his parent’s overflowing love for him was just so inspiring!
