I'm a 5'8", hazel eyed brunette with an eye for the details and a passion for capturing life's sweetest moments. I recently married the man of my dreams (+ wedding day chauffeur, coordinator, and 2nd shooter extraordinaire) had our first child (a sweet, smiley, spunky little girl) and embarked on the renovation adventure of our family's first home (major learning experience). 2018 sure was a busy year for us! Over the past 5 years I've photographed over 100 weddings around New England and in 2018 photographed our first destination wedding in Europe! I'm a love and light seeker, a mover and shaker, and a calm presence in a storm. I love Kate Spade's classic style, horses & vineyards, succulents and romantic hillsides, and an authentic moment that speaks for itself. Thank you for stopping by and I hope we cross paths soon!
SHE LOVES ALL THINGS CLASSIC, COASTAL & GENUINE
This amazing landscape of lush river beds, ice, & fire captivated us on our recent visit! We thoroughly enjoyed the miles of enormous cliffs, waterfalls, rainbows, and getting engaged there!
There's nothing like a gorgeous gown or a tailored suit with a classic black tie. When you look great, you feel great. If you've ever had something custom fit, you know the feeling.
I love a good party! Whether it's someone's birthday, a holiday, or the celebration of two people finding true love, parties are a great way to spend the day. Lighting up sparklers at dusk is just icing on the cake!
PARTIES & SPARKLERS
Ever since I was a little girl dragging around my dolly, I've loved babies & children! They seem to make wedding days especially joyful - with their miniature gowns, tiny tuxedos, curious ways, awe inspired gazes, and joyful hearts. Just precious.
Whether it be an amazing entré, sinfully delicious dessert or a fine tuned mixed beverage, there's nothing like the sweet taste of fine culinary artistry.
The countless inspiring moments that take place over the course of this journey are so priceless. Capturing them in the form of a photograph is so special to me. It's not just the colors, textures or content alone that is so special, but the emotion it can recall and evoke. I love being able to bring you back. Capturing a couple's love, whether it be during their engagement, their wedding day, or even just enjoying their new home or blooming family, is so incredibly special to me. It's all about passing on the legacy of love that started it all. When I was only a baby, my parents went through a tough divorce. I didn't know much about them ever being happy together until I was a teenager. I'll never forget the first time my aunt showed me the wedding portrait of my parents that she had stored safely away during the destruction of their marriage. The image reminded me that it all started
with love. And even though I felt alone in my gratitude for some semblance of their joyful beginnings, I was comforted that at least there were the photos to prove it. They were so young, beautiful, and actually in love. Having witnessed so many more challenging situations in life, I have always been so grateful for what I do have and for the closeness and support of those two families that have grown around me. Good families are priceless and weddings are as much about the couple's love and marriage as they are about the families surrounding them. We're all in this together. So don't be surprised if I shed a tear behind my camera, or help grandma with her sweater. Every day is a gift and every wedding is the start of a new adventure and promise of love. The day will pass quickly, but I capture the moments that will stay.
Those timeless moments that happen by yourself as well as with your family & friends over the course of this journey, are priceless. I love capturing them for couples and families alike, to pass on the legacy of love that started it all. My parents got divorced when I was only one and a half years old. That deeply impacted the rest of my life and for a long time I struggled with self identity and the balance between two very different families growing around me. Seeing so many more challenging situations around me, I have always been so grateful for what I do have and for the love and support of those two families that I have had. Good families are priceless. I'm also grateful that my parents on both sides have been so diligent about capturing genuine, memorable moments over the years. We treasure them because they remind us of the times we've had together, our achievements, times together as a family, and how much we've grown. I'll never forget the first time my aunt showed me the wedding portrait she had stored safely away during the disassembly of my parent's marriage. The image felt so genuine, so real... the love was there and it was beautiful beyond measure. And even though I felt alone in this gratitude for some semblance of my beginnings, it gave me so much comfort. Every wedding day is the start of a legacy & an adventure. I believe it should be captured, treasured, and kept forever.
I believe in having grandparent's wedding photos framed on the shelves.
Dark chocolate & sea salt covered almonds are my absolute favorite treat.
There's nothing like a classic black dress for a date night or special occasion.
On a groom or your golden retriever, bowties are undeniably stylish.
There's no other scent I love more than a fresh garden rose, it's just so luscious.
The way a multi layered organza gown billows & sways with a bride's steps just makes me melt!
